This Winter Park kitchen remodel is moving right along. The custom cabinets are fully installed - upper and lower - and you can already see how much the layout has improved. The framing for the island is set, pendant lights are hung, and the whole space has a clear sense of direction now.
Here's what we were working with: a kitchen that needed a complete gut and rebuild. New cabinet layout, new island, new lighting - the works. Getting the cabinets in is always a milestone because it's the point where a homeowner can finally start to picture the finished kitchen instead of just the chaos of construction.
The cabinet installation is one of the most detail-driven parts of any kitchen remodel. Everything has to be plumb, level, and properly secured before countertops can go in. If that foundation isn't right, you'll notice it every single day - drawers that don't close right, gaps where there shouldn't be any. We don't cut corners on that step.
Countertops are next, and that's when the space really starts to feel finished. Once the counters are down, the backsplash, hardware, and final touches all follow quickly. We're looking forward to sharing the completed look on this one - it's going to be a standout kitchen.
