Custom Shower and Tub Surround Remodel in Grand Lake

We just wrapped up this bathroom remodel in Grand Lake, and it's one of those jobs where the tile work really does all the talking. The homeowner wanted something that felt elevated but still fit the natural mountain setting - and that's exactly where we landed.

The shower is the centerpiece here. We set large-format wall tile in a clean vertical layout, then ran a wave-cut pebble tile accent strip right up the full height of the wall. That curved detail isn't just decorative - it takes real patience to cut and set pebble tile in a flowing pattern without it looking choppy. The shower floor is matching pebble tile too, which ties the whole thing together and adds natural texture underfoot.

The soaking tub surround got the same attention. We used a mosaic tile border along the top edge that echoes the earthy tones in the shower, pulling both fixtures into the same design language. Combined with the natural pine window trim, the whole space feels cohesive without feeling overdone.

A well-built shower isn't just about looks. The waterproofing, the slope of the floor, the way the tile is set and grouted - all of it affects how the space holds up over years of daily use. We take that part just as seriously as the finish work.

If you're thinking about a bathroom remodel in the Grand County area, this is the kind of work we do. Custom tile, careful builds, and results that last.
